Ladyland [http://www.starpulse.com/Music/Swan,_Sierra/Discography/album/P318624/R827430/] is the debut solo album from Alternative/Indie artist Sierra Swan, the album has timid beats, almost hidden gutars, and piano driven criteria. In 2000 Sierra began her solo journey, where she soon would be discovered by Anne Previn and Scott Cutler from the band "Edna Swap", they overlooked her demos, and asked her if she would like to participate in writing together, interested she accepted. Soon "Queen Of The Valley" was born. At the time on Atlantic Records, she was soon dropped. Linda Perry had been one of the producers on the "Queen Of The Valley" record, and one day she called Ms. Swan up, and told her she was going to get her a deal at Interscope Records, and she did, then eventually came the marvelous Ladyland, releasing the single "Copper Red". Sierra is currently working on new material, and has recentaly released an ep "Coward" only on iTunes. As of May 2008, the Queen of the Valley LP was available for mp3 download on sierraswan.com [http://www.sierraswan.com/shop.html] [http://www.indie911.com/index.php?cID=136055] .
