Montpelier, also known as Montpelier-Barre as well as Montpelier Junction is a train station in Montpelier, Vermont served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. The station was originally built by the Central Vermont Railway.[2]

Of the eleven Vermont stations served by Amtrak, Montpelier was the fifth busiest in FY2010, boarding or detraining an average of approximately 21 passengers daily.[1]
