Expeditionary Training Command

Expeditionary Training Command (ETC) is a component command of the United States Navy which falls under the larger umbrella of the Naval Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC).

Expeditionary Training Command conducts foreign national training by providing Mobile Training Teams to support the Navy Component Commander's theater goals.

From the ETC website:

:Expeditionary Training Command (ETC) supports combatant commanders' Theater Security Cooperation efforts by delivering timely, focused and customized training to designated host nations.

:ETC draws training expertise from across NECC and the Department of Defense to assist in training delivery. Host nation training supports critical regional stability by helping improve the recipient nation's capabilities in exercising maritime sovereignty.

:ETC provides training in foreign locations and gives local nationals the expertise to govern and protect themselves and their areas of responsibility from enemies. The training targets the global audience of foreign country military, civil and security personnel.

:ETC delivers maritime expeditionary core capability training and instruction in the areas of naval construction, maritime civil affairs, maritime expeditionary security, riverine, expeditionary logistics, explosive ordnance disposal, mobile diving and salvage, naval coastal warfare, and skill sets external to NECC. The goal is to complement efforts of U.S. forces across the full spectrum of military operations. Teams of ETC personnel with the subject matter expertise will train foreign audiences at a basic to intermediate level.Cite web
