Dover High School is a four-year public high school located in Dover, New Jersey in Morris County, New Jersey, United States, operating as part of the Dover School District.

As of the 2009-10 school year, the school had an enrollment of 874 students and 75 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.65.[1]

The school was the 220th-ranked public high school in New Jersey out of 322 schools statewide, in New Jersey Monthly magazine's September 2010 cover story on the state's "Top Public High Schools", after being ranked 215th in 2008 out of 316 schools.[2] The school was ranked 229th in the magazine's September 2006 issue, which surveyed 316 schools across the state.[3]

Athletics

The Dover High School Tigers now compete in the Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference, following a reorganization of sports leagues in Northern New Jersey by the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association.[4] Prior to the 2010 realignment, the school had participated in the Hills division of the Iron Hills Conference, an athletic conference that included high schools located in Essex County, Morris County and Union County.

In 2002, the boys soccer team won the North II, Group II state sectional championship, defeating Parsippany High School 1-0 in the tournament final.[5]
