Roger Swinfen Eady, 3rd Baron Swinfen

Roger Mynors Swinfen Eady, 3rd Baron Swinfen (born 14 December 1938) is a British peer. He is one of the ninety hereditary peers elected to remain in the House of Lords after the passing of the House of Lords Act 1999.

The son of the 2nd Baron Swinfen, he succeeded to his father's title in 1977. Swinfen Eady was educated at Westminster School and at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, and served then in The Royal Scots reaching the rank of Lieutenant.

Swinfen Eady is president of the South East Region British Sports Association for the Disabled and trustee of the Swinfen Charitable Trust. Since 1983, he is a Fellow of the Industry and Parliament Trust and since 1988, he is patron of the Disablement Income Group. In 1996, he was further patron of Labrador Rescue South East. Between 1983 and 1997, Swinfen Eady was member of the Direct Mail Services Standards Board. In 2001, he became an Honorary Research Fellow in the Centre for Online Health of the University of Queensland. He is also a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Drapers.

Since 1962, he has been married to Patricia Anne Blackmore. They have three daughters and a son.
