Third Platoon
First Sergeant Greg "Mac" Hassay

Mac enlisted in the Army in 1930 and by 1939 was a full Sergeant and a close friend of Sergeant Baker's father. He was a staff sergeant and served as platoon sergeant for 3rd platoon of Fox Company. Hassay took command of 3rd Platoon after Lt. Jackson was killed when his plane exploded on D-Day.
Road to Hill 30
Hassay is first seen during the night of D-Day, as he finds Baker after the drop. He briefs Baker on his missions through the whole of Road to Hill 30, and promotes Hartsock to Sergeant at Carentan.
Earned in Blood
Hassay is first seen during "Three Patrol Action" covering Hartstock's squad as they cross an open field. He plays a minor role in the game and isn't seen very often. He is wounded in the stomach during the German counter attack at Carentan.
Hell's Highway
He was promoted to the position of First Sergeant of Fox Company much to the dismay of Courtland. He also serves as an assistant to Lt. Col. Cole. In the ending cutscene it is revealed that he too knew what happened to Leggett, Allen, and Garnett, when Baker tells him that he has told the rest of his men of the incident, he says, "Matt! I told you never to do that!"
Third Squad - First Squad Recon Platoon
Staff Sergeant Matthew Baker

Baker grew up in St Louis, Missouri with his mother after his parents divorced during his early childhood. After the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, he volunteered for the newly activated airborne divisions. During a training exercise a few days before D-Day, the original leader of 3rd Squad was injured and the then Corporal Baker was promoted to Sergeant and given command of the squad. He is the main protagonist of the series. While a child, Baker received a Colt M1911 .45 pistol from his father with the words "For Matthew, Brothers In Arms" engraved on the left-hand side. His mother did not allow him to keep it. Many of Baker's squad believe this handgun to be cursed. He appears not to believe in the curse, but he doesn't allow anyone to touch it.
Road To Hill 30
The player takes control of Baker during the course of the game and leads 3rd Squad in the battles that take place in the following days. Most of the story focuses on Baker struggling to accept his responsibility of being squad leader. During the battle on Hill 30 Baker was knocked down by a tank shell and was left with a big scar on his forehead.

Hell's Highway
After Normandy, Baker's platoon is folded into a brand new Reconnaissance platoon. The recon platoon relies on their jeeps for fast movement through the battlefields to recon and harass enemy positions. The squad is broken up to two teams assigned into jeeps. The player takes control of Staff Sergent Matt Baker once again in this game. Baker is now suffering from too much stress and is seeing ghosts of his dead squad members that are haunting him, mostly Leggett. He is then forced by Dawson to tell his men that he knew what had happened to Allen and Garnett in Normandy. The men almost lose their trust in Baker, but after a speech he gives in the final cutscene, all except Corrion, stand by him. Baker also seems to finally have enough with the rumors about his supposed "cursed" pistol and throws it into the woods during his final speech, declaring, "It's just a goddamn gun!"

Corporal Samuel Corrion

Corrion made a living working at a textile mill in Augusta, Georgia before the war. He was among the original volunteers for the 101st Airborne Division. He is a weapons expert and is skilled in the use of American and German firearms.
Road to Hill 30
Corrion is first seen in "The Crack of Dawn" and links up with Baker. He stays with Baker throughout the whole game and leads the assault team.
Earned in Blood
Corrion is first seen during "Three Patrol Action", where he is in Baker's squad. To avoid German troops from spotting him he had to hide in a cesspit, getting himself covered in dirt. At the end of Earned in Blood he is seen talking to Marshall.
Hell's Highway
Corrion plays a much larger role in this game. Corrion has been fighting to stand out as a very capable soldier. He feels very strongly that he should be promoted to Sergeant and given a chance to command his fellow soldiers. Shortly after the explosion that severely wounded Hartsock, he was once again looked over for promotion by Baker. In the mission "Hell's Highway", he is shot through the chest. He is rushed to the aid station. He later learns of how Allen and Garnett died, and, feeling resentful towards Baker, tells him they will never fight together again. In the final cutscene, after Baker gives a speech to the men, they all stay behind him. Though Corrion, who resents Baker for not putting him up for Sergeant, and not telling the truth about Allen and Garnett refuses to follow him. It is unknown how- or even if- he will leave the squad.
Corporal Thomas "Zano" Zanovich

He ran away from home at age 16 and served in the French Foreign Legion. Zanovich fought as an infantryman in the 13th Demi-Brigade of the Foreign Legion at Narvik and Bjerkvik in Norway. He was at Dunkirk in 1940 and, with his enlistment up, made his way back to the US to join the US Army after the attack on Pearl Harbor. He now resides in Princeton, New Jersey.
Road to Hill 30
Zanovich is first seen in "Purple Heart Lane", where he joins Baker and stays with him during the course of the game. In the plane, after it is hit, Zanovich can be seen standing behind the men who fell down in front of Baker.
Earned In Blood
Zanovich is briefly seen on the plane in front of your character.
Hells's Highway
Zanovich plays a considerably bigger role now and he is the Fire team leader. He usually drives the jeep with Baker and the Fire team, and is shown to have a strong sense of humor.
Private First Class Kevin "Legs" Leggett

Leggett was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He joined the 101st Airborne Division as a radio operator and was assigned to Fox Company's 3rd platoon HQ.
Road to Hill 30
Leggett is first seen in the night of D-Day, where he joins Hassay and stays with him for the rest of the game. Leggett kept his teams in constant contact with Allied Command. When Baker and Hassay's teams attacked a German-occupied farmhouse, he led Allen and Garnett in an attempted flanking action. Unfortunately, they are ambushed and Allen and Garnett are both gunned down. Leggett became the scapegoat for the attack, since no one else saw him fighting and assumed he cowered in battle. In the battle of Hill 30, Leggett, in a fit of rage, exposes himself to enemy fire, screaming at a German tank to kill him. He is then killed by the Panzer.
Earned in Blood
Leggett was first seen in the mission Bloody Gulch where he is trying to bring Baker back to consciousness, and when Hartsock and the squad come back to Hassay's position, Leggett is seen dead on the ground.
Hell's Highway
Throughout Hell's Highway Leggett is seen through visions by the main character, Matt Baker. Towards the end of the game the truth is revealed about what happened to Allen and Garnett while Leggett was leading them. According to the story Leggett gets into a verbal fight with Allen whilst flanking the farm. The fight turns physical when Leggett punches Allen in the face and kicks him repeatedly on the ground, while also verbally abusing him at the same time. Leggett's screaming attracts the attention of three Germans who shoot Garnett in the head, while he is holding the so called "Cursed Pistol". Allen sees one of the Germans and stabs him in the neck with a knife. One of the other Germans shoots Allen at this point, but Allen lives long enough to kill the other two Germans with his M1 Garand. While all this is taking place we see that Leggett is just standing idly watching the event unfold before him. Leggett then screams Baker's name until he comes and talks to Leggett, who tells him what had just occurred. Baker urges Leggett to keep his mouth shut about the incident on the basis that the squad members would most likely seek revenge against Leggett.
Death
During the defense of Hill 30, Mac repeatedly orders Leggett to get armored support, apparently to no avail. When a German tank shows up on the battlefield, Leggett went into a crazed rage and shoots at the tank with "The" pistol and screams "You want me? F---ing take me! Take me!!!", before being hit with a tank shell that ripped open his stomach and face, immediately killing him. In Earned In Blood, Hartsock reveals that Leggett was indeed able to contact armored support, but could not receive their confirmation, and in RTH30, when Baker meets the tank commander who says they received the radio message, but got lost.

Courtland is first seen in "Cole's charge" where he joins Baker as part of the assault team.
Hell's Highway
Has a considerably bigger role in Hell's Highway. He alternates between the assault team and the support team.
Private First Class Stephan "Obi" Obrieski

Obrieski was born in Warsaw, and immigrated to the United States, leaving his parents behind. After the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, to prove he was an American, he volunteered for the newly-activated airborne divisions. There he was assigned to 3rd Squad under Sgt. Baker. He had hoped to find his family in Poland after the action in France.
Road to Hill 30
Obrieski is first seen in "Purple Heart Lane", where he is in Hartsock's fire-team. He is killed by a sniper in Tom and Jerry.
Death
While smoking his cigarette on Carentan Cathedral's Tower, Obrieski gets shot in the head by an advancing German sniper. Part of the left side of his upper skull is blown away. As he topples over and falls to the ground, Mac says that the shot was from far away. In the PlayStation 2 version, Obrieski is shot in the middle of his face, leaving a hole in the middle. His body is seen covered with a sheet of white cloth at the last scene of RTH 30. His helmet is left on the tower, stained with his blood. he is never mentioned again in the game.
Private First Class Dale "Kid" McCreary

Returning from Road to Hill 30, McCreary is a member of Baker's dozen. He is believed to be the character who Baker stops from hitting the ground during the first official trailer for Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway.
Road to Hill 30
McCreary is first seen in "Purple Heart Lane" where he joins Baker as part of the assault team. He is described by Baker as "kind of an asshole".
Earned in Blood
McCreary is seen helping the wounded Mac in "Close Quarters"
Hell's Highway
Appears in a bigger role in the game, he is in Baker's Fire Team and shows a dislike towards Franky, and constantly teases him. Though later, he is seen to be distraught when Franky died.
Private Larry Allen

Born in Hartford, Connecticut, he enlisted in the Army right after high school. Allen developed a strong friendship with Garnett since boot camp. They always have a sly and sarcastic remark for every situation and seem to pride themselves on that fact. He and Garnett often sparred with Pfc. Leggett over who was the better superhero, Superman (idolized by Allen and Garnett) or Batman (idolized by Leggett). The two are seen operating a bazooka during the battle at "Objective XYZ", neither of them with any great amount of skill.
Road To Hill 30
Allen is first seen on the morning of D-Day with Garnett. The two always appear together during the rest of the game. During the flanking of a farm house with Leggett, Allen and Garnett were both shot dead. Leggett's survival drew suspicion from the rest of the squad, with Corrion being the only one defending Leggett.
Death
In the mission "Buying the Farm" in Road To Hill 30 Private Allen, accompanied by Private Garnett, and Pfc. Leggett attempt to flank the farmhouse using a pincer move. While at the rear the three were ambushed: Allen and Garnett were killed, while Leggett survived. In Hell's Highway, it is revealed that Leggett actually got into a fight with Allen, which resulted in Garnett's death by a sniper shot to the head. Allen kills a German with his knife by stabbing him in the chin before he can react. Allen is then mortally wounded by a nearby German who shoots him in the stomach. He falls on the ground and crawls towards his M1 Garand while the German that shot him keeps firing at him. He proceeds to kill him. Finally, Allen kills a last German who goes to his knees in an attempt to surrender after realizing he has no more ammunition. He apologizes to Leggett, and dies. Leggett then tells Baker what had happened in a flashback cut scene from Hell's Highway.
Private Michael Garnett

He was born in Kentucky. Garnett was a dock worker on the Ohio River before enlisting in the Army. Garnett developed a strong friendship with Allen in boot camp. They always have a sly and sarcastic remark for every situation and seem to pride themselves on that fact.

Garnett is first seen in the morning of D-Day with Allen. The two always appear together during the rest of the game. During the flanking of a farm house, Allen and Garnett were both shot dead.

Garnett is first seen during the "Three Patrol Action" where he and Allen join Hartsock's squad. In the "Hell's Corner" mission he is seen separated from Allen for the only time.
Death
In the mission "Buying the Farm" in Road to Hill 30 Private Garnett, accompanied by Private Allen, and Pfc. Leggett attempt to flank the farmhouse by using a Pincer Move. While around the back the 3 were ambushed and Allen and Garnett were killed while Leggett survived. Hell's Highway revealed that Garnett was sniped in the head while holding the 'death pistol' after a verbal and physical fight between Allen and Leggett attracted the attention of three German soldiers.
Private Michael Desola

Desola is from South Philadelphia, and has 12 siblings. Desola grew close to Hartsock in training, sharing stories of bar fights. He's a tough talking Philly kid who spent his 20th birthday on a boat in the middle of the ocean, and is complacent even in the face of death. His father owned an Italian restaurant that he hoped to inherit after the war.
Road to Hill 30
He stays with Baker throughout the game until he is killed in "Purple Heart Lane".
Earned in Blood
Desola is first seen during "Three Patrol Action", where he is in Baker's squad. The last time he was seen alive in Earned in Blood was during the attack of a chateau with Allen, Garnett and Hartsock. Later on in the game (A few missions before Cpl. Hartsock is promoted to Sgt. Hartsock) Hartsock is seen in a citadels looking at Desola's body. It is then that he decided fate can't take him, even if it wants to. It is while looking at Desola's body 'Red' decides to start acting like a leader and makes sure that his men and himself get back to their families alive.
Death
During the mission 'Cole's Charge' in Road to Hill 30 he is killed by a bomb from a low flying Stuka after he squeezed through an iron gate. His stomach was tore open from the bomb, killing him instantly. It is Desola's death that leads to Hartsock becoming a stronger leader and ultimately earning his promotion to sergeant.
Private Johnny Rivas

Born in Texas, Pvt. Johnny Rivas is always seen holding his sketchbook and pencil; he draws whatever is around him. Rivas has said many times that he'll jump with more pencils than ammo, so he will always remember what he sees.
Road to Hill 30
Rivas is seen bleeding to death at the start of "Purple Heart Lane" with Corrion frantically trying to help him.
Death
Rivas is shot by a German sniper in the neck and bleeds to death.
Private David Muzza

Muzza was the first soldier to perish under Sgt. Baker's command. He died the night of June 5 (early June 6), he got hit by flak in the chest and died in the plane.
Road to Hill 30
Muzza is seen in the Extras section in the "9 days Earlier" segment. He is also seen in the plane at the beginning of the game. He is person in the back of the plane who threw up due to air sickness.
Earned in Blood
Muzza is seen dead and left in the plane.
Death
Just before landing in Normandy, while still on the plane over Normandy, the plane is hit by an AA gun. The gun causes a fire and a lot of damage to the plane. While the rest of the squad are jumping from the plane Muzza takes a piece of flak to the chest. He bleeds to death on the plane without anyone noticing. On Earned in Blood, in the extra's menu, there is a letter home from Muzza, talking about how he can't wait to take the fight to the Nazi's. He says '...anyway, I have too much to live for back home to die over in France...'. Unfortunately, no matter how much Muzza had to live for, he still died. Making baker's dozen, a regular dozen.
Second Squad- Recon Platoon
Staff Sergeant Joe "Red" Hartsock
Joseph "Red" Hartsock Lived July 26, 1922 - October 02, 2003 Rank Corporal, Sergeant (Normandy) Staff Sergeant (Holland) Unit 3rd Squad, 2nd Squad Team Fire Team Leader, 2nd Squad Leader Weapon Browning Automatic Rifle Background
He was born in Laramie, Wyoming. Before the war, he worked on a ranch in Wyoming and went hunting as a hobby. As a youth, he was wild and rebellious and gained a large scar during a bar fight and also got a lot of overnight arrests for bar fights. He married a woman named Erma, who had made him a God-fearing man, and had a daughter just before being sent to basic training. He joined the 101st Airborne Division and was eventually assigned to 3rd squad under Sgt. Baker.
Road to Hill 30
Hartsock is first seen in the morning of the invasion. He joins Baker, and eventually finds his team and leads it. For most of the game, he fights alongside Baker in all of the missions they go on. At the end of Road to Hill 30 he is promoted to Sergeant, and is to lead 2nd Squad.
Earned in Blood
Hartsock is the main character in Earned in Blood. He is seen being interviewed by Col. S.L.A Marshall, discussing his experiences from D-Day to the liberation of St. Saveur. Hartsock is saved by Cpl. Seamus Doyle of the 82nd Airborne on D-day they fight together during the night. During the battle of Carentan Hartsock is promoted to lead the remnants of 1st and 2nd squad. Hartsock later reunites with Doyle, who has been promoted to Sergeant as well, after a battle in Baupte during which he gets his ring finger on his left hand shot off. Red agrees to help Doyle liberate St. Saveur and they fight alongside each other pushing the Germans out of the city. At St. Saveur a Panzer tank vaporizes Doyle, and a large chunk of shrapnel from the same shell hits Private Paige in the chest, he manages to drag Hartsock to safety before sitting down and dying. Hartsock and the rest of his men fight their way out. Hartsock is last seen talking to Baker in the final scene.
Hell's Highway
In Hell's Highway Red once again plays a supporting role, assisting Baker throughout the game. He starts to confront Baker's hallucinations, wondering if it will limit him to fulfill his duties as squad leader. He still is desperate about getting home to meet his 2½ year old daughter Carol. After clearing out Veghel Hartsock and some of his men rendezvous with Sergeant Baker in a Bakery. During the meeting a mortar round lands on the building, killing "Friar" Winchell, slicing Jacob Campbell's throat and breaking Red's spine, paralyzing him. Paddock is made his replacement on Baker's recommendation.

Born in Kansas, Paddock is an abrupt, reckless and arrogant farmer with a very strong Southern accent. He barely got into the Airborne because of his hotheadedness, but after he joined the 101st Airborne Division his problems with authorities ceased.
Earned in Blood
Paddock is first seen in the night of D-Day, as he takes out an AA crew single-handed. He then joins Hartsock and stays with him throughout the game, leading the assault-team. Even through all of this Paddock maintains himself as a strong leader.
Hell's Highway
Paddock fights along Baker in several missions during Hell's Highway. Towards the end of the game when Hartstock is wounded and sent home, Paddock is chosen by Baker to be 2nd squad leader over Corrion, Campbell and Zanovich. He saved Baker's life by throwing the sniper that killed Lieutenant Colonel Cole out the window as he was about to stab Baker.

Corporal Jacob Campbell

Campbell was born and raised in a small town of Missouri. He was noted to have not heard any profanity throughout life until his enlistment in the army. Shortly after hearing the words, Campbell has been known to use them frequently.
Earned In Blood
Campbell is first seen in the night of D-Day, working with Lieutenant Colonel Robert Cole to ambush a German chariot convoy. Campbell was later encountered by Red in "Hell's Corner" serving as a messenger for Colonel Johnson, and later transferred to 2nd Squad during the Battle of Hill 30. Shortly after Red's promotion to Sergeant, Campbell permanently stays in Red's fire team.
Hell's Highway
Campbell plays a minor role and is seen usually with second squad. He is the first person to see Marsh die and he is very saddened of what happened. In the mission "Black Friday", Campbell is wounded in the throat by the mortar shell that wounds Baker and Hartsock and kills Friar, thus preventing him from speaking for the rest of the game.
Private First Class James Marsh

Marsh was born in small town in Oklahoma. He has been in the service for longer than many of the men around him. He served in the tail-end of the African Campaign. He is the last remaining Private in 2nd Squad.

Marsh is first seen during Hell's Corner in La Barquette Locks. He is part of Cpl. Campbell's Fire team. He uses an M1 Garand.
Hell's Highway
Marsh is usually seen with second squad and he plays a minor role. He is the first to perish, as he was killed in the bombing of Eindhoven in the Baptism of Fire level.
Private First Class Dean "Friar" Winchell

Winchell joined the 101st Airborne Division when World War II started. He was assigned to 2nd Squad's Assault-team. Winchell rarely speaks. Though laid back, he can be authoritative when the situation demands it.

He is first seen in the morning of D-Day where he joins Hartsock on a mission to seize German medical equipment from a church. He stayed with Hartsock as he couldn't find his unit, and when Hartsock was promoted he joined his squad. When Hartsock's finger was shot off, he treated the wound.
Hell's Highway
He is usually seen with second squad. He still becomes authoritative when the situation arises. As evidenced in Baptism of Fire when he is shown to push Baker to forget the child's death and to move on. He is later killed in the mission Black Friday by the same mortar that paralysed Hartsock and wounded Baker and Campbell.
Private Derrick McConnell

He was born in Florida. He travelled all around the state with his father and his joining the 101st Airborne Division seemed to be the first time he ever separated from him. At this time McConnell lead 1st Squad's Assault Team.

McConnell is first seen with Johnson when he was still part of 1st Squad. McConnell joins Hartsock after he is promoted to 2nd Squad's lead
Hells Highway
McConnell's name is only briefly mentioned in the level "Tooth and Nail". He is never seen for some odd reason, though he is mentioned.
Private William Paige

William Paige was born in Los Angeles, California. He joined the 101st Airborne Division and was part of 1st Squad's Fire-team. Paige was not known for being friendly. He usually teased, mocked and bullied the other soldiers, and was known to be a terrible hothead. Only McConnell was friends with him.
Earned in Blood
Paige is first seen at the end of action at St. Martin. Campbell stops Paige from taunting German soldiers who were taking prisoner in the Barquette Locks. Paige is seen in 3 levels after joining 2nd Squad.
Hell's Highway
His name is seen on the jeep with the names of all the men who fell in Normandy. His is right above Doyle's. However up to them, the names go in order of when they died.
Death
During the fight in St. Sauveur, a tank approached and fired upon Paige and Doyle. Doyle was vaporized, while Paige was wounded in the chest. He used the last of his strength to pull Hartsock to safety before dying of his wounds.

Born in San Diego, California. The radioman in Baker's platoon, a job that fits him perfectly. He is constantly concerned with the efficiency of the communications and tactics and he is quick to question the squad's methods or orders. The rest of them don't take him seriously in the fact being that his logic rarely applies when things go FUBAR. He uses a M1 Garand Rifle. Despite being a newcomer, he adjusts well to combat and survives the Holland campaign.
Private First Class Gary "Jas" Jasper

Jasper is the leader of the Special Weapons Team. He carries a Bazooka and a Browning M1919A6 .30 cal. LMG. He is from the South, as is visible by his accent. He named his Bazooka, Stella, after his girlfriend. Jasper is also a member of Baker's machine gun team, so he also carries a .30-caliber machine gun (Browning M1919). Jasper loves making fun of the German language, and has a knack to know when to crack jokes and loosen things up. Connor and Jasper are always together, and both can be jokers in the garrison, but serious in combat. Even with his enormous sense of humor, Jasper stops when reality takes over, and humor is of no use.

Private First Class Gary Jasper is a soldier in Baker's Bazooka team, along with Private First Class Timothy Connor.
Private First Class Timothy Connor

Jasper's assistant on the machine gun and Bazooka. Timothy also carries 2 ammo belts for the machine gun on his body stretching from his back to lower abdomen and cross his chest or a backpack contain bazooka rockets whenever he uses the MG or Bazooka he has ammo for the situation. He uses an M1 Carbine. Connor also has a cigarette box attached behind the elastic band on his helmet.
Private First Class Mike Dawson

Born in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, England. A transfer who served from the 502nd PIR Pathfinders in Normandy. A mysterious character, born to "a rich father and a poor mother" as he says. Dawson doesn't wear a helmet saying it messes up his aim, and speaks with a British accent.
Hell's Highway
Dawson finds interest in Baker's and Hartsock's stories, and usually asks the others if they believe in fate. Because of this he is isolated from the rest of the team for they would rather not re-live those events but the others still listen to him and respect him as an equal. He is a member of Baker's assault team. He uses a M1 Carbine. In the level "The First Bad News", it is revealed that Dawson met Kevin Legget outside Carentan on June 12, 1944, asking him about fate, and if he "believes there's something we all have to do before we die." In Holland, after the mission "Hells Highway" Dawson talks to Baker, stating that he knows about what happened to Allen and Garnett, and that if Baker would not tell the others what happened, then he (Dawson) would, then walks away.
Private First Class James "Jimmy" Roselli

Roselli is a replacement for Hartsock's assault team. He is shown in most of the cutscenes to be another one who rarely speaks and acts when time calls for it. Jimmy replaces McConnell who was switched to Hartsock's fire team after Normandy. Jimmy was first seen in second dev-diary fighting with Paddock after he had called Roselli 'Mussolini' with Hartsock holding Roselli back. He also has a cigarette box attached behind the elastic band on his helmet.
Private Franky "Beans" LaRoche

LaRoche is a young soldier in Baker's squad who lied about his age to join the army. He was born in Norfolk, Massachusetts. He uses an M3A1 Grease Gun. Franky is the only soldier in Baker's Squad without any real combat experience. However, he excelled in training and is a natural with most any firearm (being able to shoot a quarter from 50 yards). Young, and filled with heroic ideals, he is eager to rush into action, and all too willing to put his life on the line. He is the fresh replacement or new guy on the assault team and the youngest in 3rd squad. He and Corrion do not see eye to eye on following orders. He disobeyed Corrion in the mission "Five-Oh-Sink" when he tried to help a Dutch civilian who had his leg blown off by German artillery when the squad entered the town, and again when he went to rescue the Dutch girl in "Baptism of Fire" when Corrion spots Franky leaving to find her. He tries to stop Franky from going, saying "Franky, if you go for her, you will die." Franky ignores him and rushes to find her. In Baptism of Fire, he and the girl are trapped in the hospital, and both are shot by Germans. He dies in front of Baker, fulfilling Corrion's prophecy.
Death
He went into the hospital with a Dutch woman he met earlier that day. While the Germans occupying the hospital are also looking for them. He stays in the hospital and was shot several times in the chest after he sent her off before the Germans could get at them. He left the squad previously to search for her despite several warnings from Corporal Sam Corrion. He died in front of Sergeant Matt Baker, he asked if the Dutch girl had survived. To comfort him before he died, Baker told Franky she had escaped unharmmed, despite the fact Baker had witnessed her being murdered in cold blood by a German patrolman. (Before Frankie died, though, he admitted that he knew that Baker was lying.)

Lt. Col. Robert G. Cole

Robert G. Cole is one of the game's real to life characters and commands 3rd battalion 502nd Infantry Regiment 101st Airborne Division. Baker was previously in this unit. He posthumously received the Medal of Honor for his actions in Normandy, particularly the mission in Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 titled: Cole's Charge. He is killed by a sniper in Holland. Paddock later pushes the sniper that killed Cole out of the Church window.
Road to Hill 30
He is first seen in the first mission at the end when he is asking a French woman where they are. He is not seen again until Purple heart Lane where he is complaining about the platoon sending only one squad. He is seen in Cole's Charge when he is giving the orders to Baker's squad about what to do when the smoke builds. He is seen only one more time when he is giving wine to Mac and Lt. Comb.

He is briefly seen on the night of the drop with another paratrooper.
Hell's Highway
He is seen first on September 17 when he orders Baker to conduct a recon mission with Zano, Jasper, Conner, McCeary and Holden. He is then seen dead in "The First bad News". His body is seen next to a saddend Doc Gideon. Mac explains to Baker what happened: Cole and his men were under fire from German forces, and were trying to lay down signal panels for the air support. Cole decided to do it himself (much to Baker's confusion), and was shot in the head by a sniper. Baker and Paddock later find the sniper that shot Cole with Paddock throwing the sniper out of a church tower window.
Lt. col Robert F. "Bob" Sink

Robert F. Sink, one of the games real to life characters and is commander of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, appears as a fairly large role. Voiced by Dale Dye. After and during the level "Five-Oh-Sink" Baker is officially under the command of Sink and he partakes in many of the 506th's missions during the campaign.

Sergeant Seamus Doyle

He was born in Dublin before emigrating to the United States. He grew up in Boston and was raised only by his mother, whom he considered a "piece of work". When World War II began he volunteered to become a paratrooper. There he became a member of the 82nd Airborne Division. Doyle is a very tough and dedicated soldier and is known to be very talkative.
Earned in Blood
He is first seen in the night of D-Day where he saves Hartsock's life. He stayed with Hartsock until he could find the rest of the 82nd. Doyle was killed by a tank shell in St. Sauveur.
Death
Vaporized when hit by a tank shell from a German Panzer in St. Sauveur. The only physical part of him left was his 82nd Airborne "All-American" Patch.
Sergeant George Risner

George Risner is a tank commander in RTH30. He is also a close friend of Sergeant Matt Baker. Risner and Baker grew up on the same block, and went to the same schools together. Baker has mentioned that he and George used to launch bottle rockets in the creek behind his house and blame it on the other kids in the neighborhood, and that they also chased after the same girls in high school. He originally signed up for the paratroopers with Baker, but due to a knee injury in training, he was forced to transfer to the 70th Tank Battalion.
Road to Hill 30
He is first seen on D+1 when he links up with Baker. He stays with him as a squad member until he is killed at Dead Man's Corner. His body is seen in the next mission. He is remembered in Tom and Jerry when Baker says the names of all the men that died under his command. He is also seen in the Extras segment "Nine Days Earlier" holding the death pistol and telling Baker how he got it from Baker's dad, who was killed holding it.
Hell's Highway
Risner is seen briefly in flashback sequence, Baker is thinking about everyone who died holding the so-called "Death Pistol" and thinks of the moment Risner was killed.
Pieter
Pieter is a small 12 year old boy from Eindhoven, Holland. He first appears in the mission "Written in Stone" along with his father Nicholaas. Pieter runs away from his father to fight with a gun he was given for protection. He is found and saved by Baker in the mission "Operation Garden" and rejoins his father in "Reunion". In the mission "Baptism by Fire" as Baker discovers Marsh is dead, Paddock appears holding Pieter in his arms and places him on the ground. A building collapsed on Pieter and his father, killing them both. Later in the mission, as you escape the bomb shelter, visions of Pieter's face flash in front of you.
Death
In the mission "Baptism by Fire" after Baker finds out Marsh is dead, Paddock shows up with Peter dead in his arms and places him on the ground. Paddock explains that he and Friar were going to check on him and found him underneath a pile of rubble. A building had fallen onto Pieter's home and crushed it, killing both Pieter and his father.
Tank Commander Henry Redwood

Redwood is the player character during one of the tank missions. He may be a part of the Irish Guards, due to his accent and the fact that is the forward unit of XXX Corps. He introduces himself to Baker by saying "My name's Redwood, We're here to help you get through this shithole". Humorously, when Baker and the squad first meet Redwood, he gets his own subtitles, even if they are turned off. He gives Baker a British M1928 Thompson saying "It's Jesus resurrected compared to your Yank Tommy!"
