The UCLA School of Public Affairs is the public affairs graduate school at UCLA. The school consists of three departments -- Public Policy, Social Welfare, and Urban Planning -- offering two undergraduate minors, three master's degrees, and two doctoral degrees [ [http://www.spa.ucla.edu/main2.cfm?d=xr&f=theschool.cfm&s=school UCLA School of Public Affairs ] ] . It was formerly known as the School of Public Policy and Social Research.

Departments and Degrees

*Public policy — MPP
*Social welfare — MSW, PhD
*Urban planning — MA, PhD

A PhD program in public policy is in the planning stages, according to main department contacts.

Joint degree programs (J.D., MBA., Latin American Studies, Architecture and Urban Design, and Asian American Studies) are offered. Consult individual departments for more information.
