Edmonton Pedway

Edmonton Pedway

The Edmonton Pedway system is a network of pedestrian pedways and tunnels connecting to various office buildings, shopping centres, & parkades around downtown Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It consists of around 13 km of year-round climate-controlled pedways connecting to more than 40 buildings & parkades. It is also connected to 3 of the 5 Edmonton Light Rail Transit (LRT) stations in the downtown.

Pedways link mostly centre on LRT stations.

Linked to Churchill station:
*Canada Place
*Shaw Conference Centre
*Citadel Theatre
*Stanley A. Milner Library
*Westin Hotel
*Art Gallery of Alberta
*Edmonton City Hall
*Provincial Law Courts
*Sutton Place Hotel
*Edmonton City Centre mall (West building)

Linked to Central station:
*Telus Plaza
*Scotia Place
*Commerce Place
*Manulife Place
*Edmonton Journal building
*Edmonton City Centre mall (East building)

There are also some independent connections between buildings that are not linked to the wider system, as well as shorter tunnels leading from the surface directly to the LRT, such one near the Alberta Legislature Building that leads to Grandin station.
