NGOSS-TNA

NGOSS-TNA

The NGOSS-TNA (NGOSS Technology Neutral Architecture) provides the necessary structural underpinnings and building constructs to support the analysis, design, implementation and deployment of NGOSS-based open distributed computing solutions (BSS/OSS) for communications service providers.

The NGOSS architecture has been developed as a distributed interface-oriented and component-based architecture, which is the current "best practice" in distributed systems development.

Application capability (TAM) is delivered across an interface in the form of services (e.g., SOA Web Services) that can be utilized to satisfy a business need (eTOM) to gain access to or manipulate information (SID).

The NGOSS Contract is the unit of service specification in NGOSS.

The NGOSS Component is the unit of service deployment in NGOSS.

A visual representation of the TMF NGOSS TNA is shown below indicating the interface-oriented interaction of components that are distributed but linked through common communications vehicle.
