Workopolis

Workopolis

Workopolis is a Canadian employment search and career planning website. Workopolis is a partnership of two Canadian media companies, the "Toronto Star" and Gesca Ltée, the newspaper publishing subsidiary of Power Corporation of Canada. Formerly, The Globe and Mail was a partner in the site through its parent, CTVglobemedia.

Formerly globecareers.com, workopolis.com was launched in January 2000, and it claims to be Canada's largest employment-related website offering more than 50,000 jobs daily.

Workopolis added online campus recruitment services with the purchase of campusworklink.com in August of 2001. In January 2002, campusworklink.com was migrated to Workopolis technology and in May 2002 was rebranded as workopolisCampus.com. workopolisCampus.com offers more jobs, students, and career centres than any other job site in Canada.

In 2006, Workopolis re-launched Workpolis TV in partnership with Business News Network.
