(1987)"The Falcon and the Snowman" is an original soundtrack album produced by Pat Metheny and co-produced by Lyle Mays for the Orion Pictures feature length film with the same title. The music is performed almost entirely by the Pat Metheny Group however the orchestration is expanded for some tracks to include strings, horns and a male chorus. All of the compositions and arrangements are by Pat Metheny and Lyle Mays in a style that is consistent with their prior collaborative works of the early 1980s, namely "As Falls Wichita, So Falls Wichita Falls", "Offramp" and "First Circle". One of the tracks features vocals and lyrics by David Bowie and was released as a single, "This is Not America".
