Andrejs Perepļotkins ( _uk. Andrey Pereplotkin), (born 27 December 1984 in Kharkiv) is a footballer who plays primarily as a right winger. Although born in the Ukraine, he plays internationally for Latvia. He currently plays for plays for Derby County in the English Football League Championship on loan from Latvian side Skonto.

Career

Early Career

Perepļotkins joined FC Metalist Kharkiv at the age of 18, but over the next two years had spells with several different clubs, including Fili Moscow and R.S.C. Anderlecht, as well as spending time at Southampton's academy.

His big break came with Irish side Bohemians, where he played 18 games, scoring 3 goals, towards the end of the 2003–04 season, however he was released by Bohs before the end of the season. Skonto signed him for the beginning of the 2004–05 season. Over the next 4 years Perepļotkins played 55 times, scoring 20 times, helping the side to win the 2005 Livonia Cup.

Derby County

International Career

Perepļotkin made his international debut for Latvia as they unsuccessfully tried to qualify for Euro 2008. He currently has five caps, scoring once.
