Year Three

Year Three

In schools in England and Wales Year Three is the third year after Reception. This year is the first in junior school. Children's ages range between seven and eight years of age. It is the first year of Key Stage 2.

In Northern Ireland and Scotland Primary 3 (P3) is the third year of compulsory education. Children range between six and seven years of age.
