"The Wiser Sex" is a 1932 film made by Paramount Pictures, directed by Berthold Viertel and Victor Viertel, and starring Claudette Colbert, Melvyn Douglas, Lilyan Tashman, William Boyd and Ross Alexander.

Film inspired partly by the then recent crime-busting activities of New York's Seabury Committee.

Plot

Story of the clash between an ambitious politician and a racketeer. Based on the play "Her confessions" by Clyde Fitch.
