Stjørdal is a train station located in downtow Stjørdal, Norway and is located on the railway line Nordlandsbanen. The station serves both local and express trains northbound to Innherred and Nordland and southbound to Trondheim. The commuter train between Steinkjer and Trondheim, Trønderbanen, operates at a one hour headway.

History

The station was opened on 1 October 1902 on the Hell–Sunnanbanen line between Hell and Levanger as the section to Stjørdal was finished.
