Shifty Shellshock is the pseudonym for Seth Brooks Binzer (born August 23, 1974) [ [http://people.famouswhy.com/seth_binzer/ Famouswhy.com - Seth Binzer] ] , a co-founder/front man of Crazy Town.

Life

Binzer was born in Los Angeles to Leslie Brooks and Rollin Binzer. His father was an artist and filmmaker who did album covers and directed " a 1972 Rolling Stones performance film.

His family moved to Marblehead, Massachusetts during his childhood, then back to Los Angeles when he was 12. Binzer began writing rhymes and then later rapping. During adolescence, he immersed himself in the West Coast hip hop scene ending up becoming at just 15 a member of late 80's/early 90s hip-hop outfit, The Whooliganz. He became a graffiti artist around Los Angeles with Westwood Village and Hollywood among his targets.

Later he joined Crazy Town as vocalist/lyricist/producer with the band achieving a big international chart-topping success with the single "Butterfly" that reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

In 2002 he featured in the song "Starry Eyed Surprise" on Paul Oakenfold's album Bunkka.

In 2004 he launched his first solo album "Happy Love Sick" with collaborations with TC and Paul Oakenfold. His upcoming solo album "Dr. Sober and Mr. High" will feature collaborations with Will.I.am, Fergie, Tom Dumont (from No Doubt) and Paul Oakenfold.

Shifty was one of 9 celebrities to feature in the VH1 TV show Celebrity Rehab which premiered on January 10, 2008 [* [http://www.vh1.com/shows/dyn/celebrity_rehab_with_dr_drew/series.jhtml "Celebrity Rehab" Official site at VH1.com] ] . He also agreed to star in VH1's follow-up show, "Sober Living". He has since re-entered the "Sober Living" house in an attempt to kick his drug habits for good.
