Carrie was a rock music band fronted by former Levitation and Some Have Fins member Steve Ludwin, EMF Bass player Zac Foley, Dennis Dicker and Austrailan drummer Bruce Pawsey. The band's name derived from the Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher.http://www.independent.co.uk/news/obituaries/zac-foley-729651.html]

They were signed to Island Records and released a number of singles and the 1998 album "Fear Of Sound".

They had a hit single titled California Screamin'.

Their sound was characterised by a juxtaposition of glossy production and multi-layered harmonies with often dark lyrical material.fact|date=September 2008

The band's demise came in 2001 when Foley returned to the reformed EMFhttp://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/obituaries/1380899/Zac-Foley.html] and Ludwin and Dicker left to form Little Hell. [http://www.doubledragonmusic.com/bands/littlehell/littlehell.html]
