The 1973 German Grand Prix was a Formula One race held at Nürburgring on August 5, 1973.

* Fastest l

* Jackie Stewart took his 27th and last grand prix victory in this race. This was a record that stood for fourteen years until Alain Prost finally surpassed it in 1987.
* First run of the German Grand Prix with limited advertising for all the cigarette brands. Tobacco advertising would return to the German Grand Prix in 1999 until be banned again for the 2006 race.
* The race was rebroadcast in 2003 in the USA on Speed Channel as a special broadcast of their Formula 1 retrospective, Formula One Decade. Commentary was by Jackie Stewart and David Hobbs.
