The 1985 Mitsubishi Australian Grand Prix was a Formula One championship race held in Adelaide on November 3, 1985. It was the final race for the 1985 season.
It was the first Australian Grand Prix as part of the Formula One championship. Previous races under the name had been run before, but never part of the F1 championship.

*On the second to last lap, Ligier driver Philippe Streiff tried to overtake his team-mate Jacques Laffite for 2nd place and, as result of this maneuver, Streiff's front wheel axis was severely damaged, but the driver still managed to finish in 3rd place despite driving on "three wheels".
