Archie Griffin Award

Archie Griffin Award

The Archie Griffin Award, named after the only two-time Heisman Trophy winner in history, was first presented to Virginia Tech quarterback Michael Vick in 1999. The specially designed ring is one of the few college football awards presented after all bowl games are completed, and signifies college football's Most Valuable Player for the entire season. Recent winners include Oklahoma quarterback Josh Heupel, Miami (FL) QB Ken Dorsey and Matt Leinart of USC. The trophy is given out by the Touchdown Club of Columbus.
