Biography

Koji Seto discovered his interest for acting when he saw his idol Satoshi Tsumabuki in the drama Orange Days (2004). Shortly after, with fifteen years, his mother enrolled him in the local Acting School [http://www.himawari.net/fukuoka/index.html Himawari] in Fukuoka City, were he was taught in drama, dance and music. He got his first part after one year in training in the comedy drama Rocket Boys as the main antagonist of later D-BOYS-fellow members Yuya Endo and Kotaro Yanagi. Afterwards, he participated on the 31th of July 2005 in Watanabe Entertainment´s official 2nd D-Boys audition and won the Grand Prix 2nd Winner Award.

He debuted as D-BOY in December 2005 at his first D-Live event - an entertainment show featuring only D-BOYS members. In Spring 2006, with just seventeen, he moved from his hometown in Fukuoka prefecture to live by himself in Tokyo and starred with other D-BOYS members in their first own TV production "DD-BOYS". At the same time he won the audition for the role of Eiji Kikumaru in Tenimyu and established his place in the hearts of fans in Japan and all over the world until his graduation alongside the members of the 3rd Seigaku generation on September 9, 2007.

In spring 2007, Koji was also casted as protagonist Kyoichi Segawa in "Happy Boys". A drama based on Makoto Tateno´s script, that was released along with the TV Series in Manga-form. Mangaka Tateno created the character-design originally based upon the actors, which is one of very rare occurrences. Right after the filming for this series, he got offered his first movie as leading actor in the DVD-only release of "Tonari no 801-chan", a real-life action version after a manga about the popular 801-chan-Phenomenon. The part of Izamu Hayama in the touching feature film [http://www.tenkure.com/ Tenshi ga Kureta Mono] was his first cinema production in autumn 2007. Koji co-starred in winter 2007 with Aya Ueto and Yo Oizumi in the Golden Time TV Series Abarenbo Mama.

Back in late 2006, he was also chosen as Thursday's member Seto-kun of Oha Suta, a children's TV show airing live every morning on TV Tokyo. He co-hosts the show constantly since then once a week together with Kōichi Yamadera. In addition to this, he is weekly also a regular Ikemen-member on Fuji TV's Friday night show [http://wwwz.fujitv.co.jp/b_hp/thrill/index.html Thrill Night - United Ikemen] . In January 2008 he currently plays as one of Japan's actual tokusatsu heroes by starring as Wataru Kurenai/Kamen Rider Kiva in "Kamen Rider Kiva".
