Kang Ho Dong ( _ko. 강호동, born June 11, 1970) is a Korean MC and comedian, who first became known to Koreans as the top Korean traditional wrestler.

Profile

Born in Jinju to a family of one brother and three sisters, Kang graduated from Masan Business High School (마산상업고등학교). Before moving on to show business, he was widely recognized as the youngest ever Korean Ssireum title holder, which he went on to win for a total of five times. He began his television career appearing on MBC as a talent. He later became the show host of a number of different popular television shows produced by SBS and KBS. Winning a total of 8 entertainment awards, He is now widely regarded as one of the best show-hosts in Korean television history. He currently hosts about 8 shows. Popular Korean shows "1 Night 2 Days"(1박2일), "knee-pop master"(무릎팍 도사), "Star King"(스타킹) are all hosted by Kang Ho Dong. Many elders know about him as well, because of his athletic career. It was announced on July 22, 2008, that Kang would become a father next year in March 2009.
