Peter Cleall (born 16 March, 1944 in Finchley, Middlesex) is an English actor's agent and actor who is best known for his performance as Eric Duffy in the LWT situation comedy "Please Sir!" and the follow up "The Fenn Street Gang".

Cleall was educated at Brighton College and began his acting career at Watford Rep and the Watermill Theatre, Newbury and he has run his own fringe theatre company. He has appeared in numerous other television programmes including "Spooner's Patch", "Silent Witness," "Peak Practice" and "The Bill."

Television has included 'D.H. Lawrence', 'Thirty Minute Theatre', 'Mickey Dunne', 'Dixon of Dock Green'. His father was a draughtsman.

He is married to Christine and has two sons, Miles and Damian. Damian has done many uncredited parts on TV and film.

His hobbies (extracted from Who's Who on Television 1970) include playing squash and guitar.

Peter Cleall now runs the Pelham Associates actor's agency, based in Brighton.
