Indonesia 2000 census

The Indonesia 2000 census was carried out with the fix-date 2000-06-30 and counted 206 264 595 people. In some provinces estimates had to be made.

The census also asked for ethnicity. 101 ethnic groups were identified, but there are probably thousands. [http://www.pcgn.org.uk/Indonesia-%20Population&AdminDivs-%202003.pdf]
