Stanislav Ioudenitch

Stanislav Ioudenitch, a pianist from the former Soviet Republic of Uzbekistan, was a Gold Medalist at the Eleventh Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2001, tying for first place with Olga Kern. He has also won top prizes at the Busoni, Kapell, Maria Callas Competitions, as well as at the 1998 Palm Beach Invitational and the 2000 New Orleans International. His win at the Van Cliburn Competition led to a recital debut at the Aspen Music Festival and a European tour, highlighted by appearances at summer festivals in France, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom. Mr. Ioudenitch was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and he is a former student of Dmitri Bashkirov at the Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia in Madrid. He attended the International Piano Foundation "Theo Lieven" in Cadenabbia, Italy, where he worked with Leon Fleisher, William Grant Naboré, Murray Perahia, Karl Ulrich Schnabel, Fou Ts'ong, and Rosalyn Tureck.

He has spent the last three years on a worldwide concert tour, including continuing performances in association with the Cliburn Foundation. Ioudenitch has performed throughout Europe, the United States, Turkey, South Africa and China, and he has appeared with the Munich Philharmonic, the Philharmonie der Nationen, the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, D.C., the Kansas City Symphony, Long Island Philharmonic, Pacific Symphony, Rochester Philharmonic, Santo Domingo Symphony Orchestras and the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall.

Mr. Ioudenitch has grown into one of the music world’s most promising young artists, exhibiting a strong individuality and musical conviction that sets him apart from other artists of his generation. He is the youngest pianist ever invited to give master classes at the International Piano Academy at Lake Como. He currently Associate Professor of Music and the Artistic Director of the Youth Conservatory of Music at the International Center for Music at Park University in Missouri, USA.
