Adam Thirlwell

Adam Thirlwell (born 1978) is a British novelist and Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford and ex-pupil of the Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School, Elstree. He is assistant editor of "Areté," an arts tri-quarterly. He also writes a column for Esquire magazine. In 2003 he published his first novel, "Politics", and was included in Granta's list of the twenty best young British novelists. As an undergraduate (reading English) at New College, Oxford, he won several essay prizes and excelled in his final-year exams. [cite web
