Mere Sanam (Hindi: मेरे सनम) was a Hindi film released in 1965 Hindi film starring Asha Parekh, Biswajeet, Pran, Rajindernath and Mumtaz. The film was a hit at the box office. The ear-pleasing music and beautiful locations were mostly responsible for the film's success. The story line and direction were also good, but it was music which played a key role in the film's success. box office[1].

Plot

Neena (played by Asha Parekh) is travelling to a remote holiday spot in the company of her mother and several female friends. During their journey they decided to stay overnight at a lodge. But another logder, Kumar (played by Biswajeet), finds their presence undesirable and asks the caretaker to get the surprised group to leave. The caretaker explains that Kumar is mentally unstable and under the impression that he is the owner of the lodge.

After several misunderstandings Kumar and Neena fall in love and express their desire to get married. But subsequently Neena and her mother discover some intimate photographs of Kumar and a young woman named Kamo alias Kamini.
