Kenneth Davidson (cricketer)

Kenneth Richard Davidson was a first class cricketer who played for 30 matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club from 1933 to 1935 and 1 game for Scotland against Yorkshire in 1938. Slightly unusually for someone who played comparatively little, he was awarded his county cap in 1935..

A right handed batsman, he scored 1355 runs in all first class cricket at an average of 31.51 and a highest score of 128 against Kent CCC. His other century, 101*, came against the M.C.C. and he made 7 fifties. He bowled just 5 balls, which went for 4 runs.

Born on the 24th December 1905 in Leeds, he died on Christmas Day, 1955, at Prestwick Aerodrome, Ayrshire, Scotland.
