Lou Fellingham (née Hunt; born 5 July 1974), also known as Louise Fellingham, is a Christian worship leader, singer and songwriter from Brighton, in the UK. She has been a member of the band Phatfish since 1994 and has been singing, in various contexts, since she was 7 years old.cite web

She has worked with other Christian artists and worship leaders such as Stuart Townend, Kate Simmonds, Matt Redman, Tim Hughes, Simon Brading, Brian Houston, Martyn Layzell and more or by herself as a worship leader or soloist. She is regularly referred to as having "one of the finest voices in Christendom", and has a distinctive voice that has been described as "wistful", "soaring", and "angelic". Lou is also an accomplished backing vocalist and is often featured on live worship albums solely as a backing singer and not a lead vocalist due to her technical skill and ability to harmonise. Because of this she is often called upon to teach about vocal technique and singing in a Christian context, and takes part in the Mission:Worship conference in Eastbourne, with Phatfish every year. She also led the vocal technique seminar at the worship school at Church Of Christ The King, a church from which artists such as Stuart Townend, Kate Simmonds, Dave Fellingham, Paul Oakley, Phatfish and Martin Smith of Delirious? have originated.

She has been involved in many Christian projects since the formation of Phatfish, including singing at the Christian events such as Stoneleigh, Newfrontiers Leadership Conference, Newday, Spring Harvest, Festival Manchester, Soul Survivor, Keswick Convention, Cheltenham Bible Festival, Worship Together and the Mission:Worship conference in Eastbourne, usually alongside the band Phatfish. Lou has also featured on studio albums recorded by Christian artists such as Stuart Townend and Matt Redman.

Fellingham has appeared on numerous compilation albums, including the "Newfrontiers" live albums from Stoneleigh to more recently "Newday". Lou is often with the band Phatfish and is involved in training and the building up of other Christian worship leaders and singers through CCK's own worship school, travelling the country helping out in other Churches, or events such as .

In 2007 Fellingham featured on the BBC1's Songs of Praise performing songs including "In Christ Alone", "See What A Morning", "My Heart Is Filled With Thankfulness", "Knowing Your Grace" and "I Will Say" with the latter also featuring on Spring Harvest albums Shine and Liz Babb's meditative "Immerse". Her version of "In Christ Alone" was used as a backing track to a radio advertising campaign by Jonathan Gledhill, the Bishop of Lichfield on Beacon Radio, Classic Gold, Signal 1 and Signal 2 in September 2007. This version can also be found on YouTube in various different videos popularising the song.

2006 saw the release of Fellingham's first solo album, titled 'Treasure'. The album has been immensley popular and the track "Hard Pressed" was released as a radio single, receiving airplay in the US and on online-based Christian radio stations. She had the most sales in 2006 for popular Christian magazine Cross Rhythms online shop, with the album receiving 9/10 in its review.

Following the success of "Treasure", Lou teamed up with Stuart Townend for a "Stu and Lou" tour with Phatfish. This took them to various places around the UK with Lou performing tracks from "Treasure" and Stuart performing from "Monument to Mercy". For the Phatfish + Lou Fellingham gig in Wrexham in 2007, Lou and Phatfish performed with "dynamic" lighting and sound on the first night, with Stuart leading the second night with a more congregational style. Phatfish supported on the 2nd night with Lou leading one or two tracks, but mainly backing Stuart.

In addition to other musical projects Fellingham continues to lead worship and head up the choir at her local church (CCK). She is still a faithful member of the band Phatfish and they have just released their seventh full studio album, Guaranteed. Recent gig appearances at Newday, Souled Out, The Cheltenham Bible Conference, Brighton, Wrexham, Soul By The Sea and the upcoming gig at Gloucester have been titled "Phatfish and Lou Fellingham". Phatfish and Lou Fellingham have also led worship at the Mission:Worship conference alongside Stuart Townend and Matt Redman in Eastbourne in November 2007. They will be appearing on the upcoming Mission:Worship album released by Kingsay Music/Survivor Records titled "A New Day Of Worship".

In March 2008, Phatfish newsletter subscribers were sent an email stating that Lou and Nathan Fellingham travelled to LA in February to record a follow up to Lou's highly successful debut "Treasure". The album is titled "Promised Land" and was released in May 2008, quickly receiving a rave review from Tony Cummings of Cross Rhythms calling it Lou's best work yet. It is already top of the sales charts, and has overtaken Delirious?'s Kingdom Of Comfort. Lou is currently one of Cross Rhythm's most successful artists in terms of sales and the most successful female artist. She is often the only female singer/worship leader to appear on their daily charts, and often has her two albums featuring along with others she has contributed to such as Newfrontiers and Phatfish.

Over the past year Lou has led worship and performed at events such as Keswick Ministries, New Word Alive, Kingsway Children's Conference, Radiant, Newfrontiers & Newday and will be appearing with other artists such as Tim Hughes at Mission:Worship later in the year.
