"Kuolema Tekee Taiteilijan" was the third single released from the "Once" album by Finnish symphonic power metal quintet Nightwish. It was released on November 24, 2004, by Spinefarm Records, together with the platinum edition of the "Once" album. "Kuolema tekee taiteilijan" is Finnish and means "Death Makes an Artist" in English. The single was never released outside Japan and Finland. During the end credits on "A Day Before Tomorrow", you're able to hear "Kuolema Tekee Taiteilijan (Orchestral Version)". It was never officially released, but some fans ripped it off the DVD and released it through the Internet.

Since Anette Olzon joined the band, it is no longer performed live, as she is not fluent in Finnish.
