Philip Hart (cricketer)

Philip Richard Hart is a first class cricketer who played 3 matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club in July 1981, replacing the absent Phil Carrick. He made his debut, at the advanced age of 34, against Surrey CCC and turned out again against Glamorgan CCC and Nottinghamshire CCC.

A slow left arm bowler, he took just 2 wickets at 70 and scored 23 runs at 4.6 with a best of 11. He was born on January 12, 1947 in Seamer, Scarborough, Yorkshire. Martyn Moxon, the former Yorkshire and England batsman who played alongside him, is his brother in law.
