Moshe Ivgy (born 29 November 1953) is a Moroccan-born Israeli actor and director.^[1]

Biography

Moshe Ivgy was born in Casablanca, Morocco.^[2] He was married to actress Irit Sheleg.^[3] Their daughter Dana Ivgy is also an actress.^[4] After divorcing Irit, he married Orit, with whom he has two children, Ella and Lily.^[5]

In 2005, Ivgy was voted the 112th-greatest Israeli of all time in a poll by the Israeli news website Ynet to determine whom the general public considered the 200 Greatest Israelis.^[6]

Ivgy directed And the Third Day. ^[7]In 2009, he co-starred with his daughter Dana in Hayu Leilot.^[8]
