Asti is an unincorporated community in Sonoma County, California, USA. It is located near U.S. Route 101 in the Alexander Valley between Cloverdale and Healdsburg.

In 1881, Andrea Sbarboro established two communities, Asti and Chianti, as part of his Italian Swiss Agricultural Colony. Asti was named after the city in northern Italy. [cite web|url=http://users.ap.net/~chenae/socotown.html|title=Towns of Sonoma County|accessdate=2008-01-21] A plaque at the southeast corner of Asti Road and Asti Post Office Road commemorates the colony, whose wines won ten gold medals in international competition. The colony is California Historical Landmark #621. [cite web|title=Office of Historic Preservation: Sonoma|url=http://ohp.parks.ca.gov/default.asp?page_id=21528|accessdate=2008-01-11]

Located in the Alexander Valley AVA, Asti is the home of Asti Winery. The Asti Winery is still a working winery and has recently reopened it's doors to the public with the Cellar 8 brand.
