Dave Taylor (born 7 August 1988) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer for the South Sydney Rabbitohs of the National Rugby League (NRL). A Queensland State of Origin representative utility player, he previously played for the Brisbane Broncos.

Biography

Taylor started off his Career as a Blackwater Crusher, he was very dominant in his age group as he was always big,^[2] Taylor attended St Brendans College, Yeppoon and in 2005 represented Australia at schoolboy level.^[3]

South Sydney Rabbitohs

Taylor was originally selected to play in the 2010 All Stars match but withdrew due to injury. In his first year with Souths Taylor was selected to play for Queensland and made his debut for the Maroons from under the bench in Game I of the 2010 State of Origin series.

Origin Career

Taylor played for Queensland 2011, in which Queensland won and increased their series wins to six. Taylor was suspended and as a result, was unable to play the third game.
