Expedition 19 is the 19th long duration flight to the International Space Station. This would be the International Space Station expedition during which the International Space Station transitions from three to six crew members. Expedition 19 will be commanded by cosmonaut and Russian Air Force Col. Gennady Padalka. This expedition is scheduled to start in March 2009. Because six crew members will be at the station, there will be two separate Soyuz TMA flights launched at two different times (each Soyuz TMA can hold three people).
