"Si Tú No Vuelves" was first released in 1992 as the lead single for Miguel Bosé's studio album "Bajo el Signo de Caín"". The song was written by Bosé, Lanfranco Ferrario and Massimo Grilli. For the international edition of the album an Italian adaptation was recorded, entitled "Se Tu Non Torni" [http://www.miguelboseonline.net/music_lyrics/album_cd/bajo_limited/bajo_limited.html] .

Amaral & Chetes version

On 2006, a cover version of the song was recorded by Spanish duo Amaral and Mexican singer Chetes, was released as the first single of the soundtrack of the Mexican movie "Efectos Secundarios".

Shakira & Miguel Bosé's version

The song is a re-make of Miguel Bosé's song featuring the Colombian artist Shakira, and is included on the former's album "Papito". The song was first released in Italy.

The song is slow and melodic, and gradually reaches a climax where Shakira ends the song.It has been noted that in the song, Shakira does not use her typical voice throughout the whole song. Her voice is much softer and is said mostly in a whisper, which has been her recent goal and is demonstrated in Shakira's Oral Fixation Volumes 1 & 2.

As the song was only released as digital download, it was only able to chart on the Italian FIMI Download Chart, peaking at number two and becoming Shakira's eighth Top 5 single in that country.
