Geoffrey Dutton

Geoffrey Dutton (1922-1998) was an Australian author and historian.

Dutton was born in Kapunda, South Australia in 1922 and died in September 1998. He was awarded in Order of Australia.

Dutton wrote or edited over 200 books, including poetry, fiction, biographies, art appreciation, art and literary history, travel books, novels for children and critical essays. Whilst at Adelaide University, he also wrote for the student newspaper On Dit
