(TSX: DHX) is a Canadian media production company formed in 2006 by the merger of Halifax Film Company and Decode Entertainment. The DHX name derives from the combination of Decode and Halifax. Studio B Productions was acquired by DHX Media in December 2007.[2] In March 2008 DHX Media acquired Bulldog Interactive Fitness.[3]
DHX Media's content library now includes 28 titles produced over the last nine years. It has eight children's series currently in first window broadcast on several cable and broadcast networks in North America and internationally, including Lunar Jim, Bo On The Go! and Poko. Bo On The Go! and other CG (computer) animations are produced by Halifax Film at Electropolis Studios - the children's productions facility near Halifax's Citadel Hill; and Franny's Feet, The Save-Ums and Naturally, Sadie are produced by Decode in Toronto.

Decode Entertainment was established 1997 by Neil Court and Steven DeNure. It currently co-produces Super WHY! with New York City-based Out of the Blue Enterprises for PBS Kids in the USA and Kids' CBC in Canada.
Halifax Film
Halifax Film was established by former Salter Street Films executives Michael Donovan and Charles Bishop in 2005. The company has many former employees of Salter and produces television shows such as the satirical comedy This Hour Has 22 Minutes (begun as a Salter Street production), children's stop-motion series such as Poko and Lunar Jim as well as Computer Generated (CG) animation productions such as Bo On The Go!, The Mighty Jungle and Animal Mechanicals, as well as the dramas The Guard and North/South.
Studio B Productions
Founded in Vancouver, British Columbia, the Studio B Productions animation studio is behind the 2007 remake of the 1960s animated series George of the Jungle, the PBS Kids series Martha Speaks and other shows that air on YTV in Canada and various networks in the USA.
Bulldog Interactive Fitness
Bulldog Interactive Fitness is Canada’s first fitness franchise designed for youth. Using video games and other forms of interactive technology, along with specialized fitness and nutrition programs, Bulldog is designed to help kids gain confidence and self-esteem through fun activities, in a safe and bully-free environment.
