Ecological community

Ecological community

The term ecological community can refer to two different things:

* A community (ecology) or biocoenosis, usually called an ecological community, refers to all the interacting organisms living together in a specific habitat.
* An ecovillage, sometimes called an "ecological" human community, is an intentional community organized around economic and ecological sustainability.
