Vaughn helped Rutgers to a perfect 16-0 in the league for a Big East title. In her sophomore season she was named the All-Met Division I Women's College Basketball Player of the Year. Vaughn averaged 13 points per game, 9 rebounds per game, and 3 blocks per game. She was the only player to start and play in all of the games in the 2006-2007 season.
