Copenhagen football champions

The Copenhagen football champions were the winners of a league tournament held under various names in the years 1903–1936. It replaced The Football Tournament (1889–1903) as the finest Danish football tournament of its time.

From 1912 to 1927 it served as the Copenhagen qualifier for the National Football Tournament, a national playoff to elect a Danish Champion. The National Football Tournament was won by a team from Copenhagen all the times contested. From 1927 to 1936 it coexisted with the Danish Championships with the best Copenhagen teams competing in both competitions.
