Federation of South African Trade Unions

The Federation of South African Trade Unions (FOSATU) was a labour organisation formed in April 1979 to build non-racialindustrial worker's block committed firmly to strong factory floor organization. It was merged into the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) in 1985. [http://wiserweb.wits.ac.za/PDF%20Files/wirs%20-%20ulrich.PDF]
