"Left of the Middle" is the debut album by Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia. Released in 1997, the album was a considerable hit worldwide. Spurred by the success of lead single "Torn", the album reached number 1 in her home country and the top 10 in both the UK and US. The album received a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album, losing to Madonna's "Ray of Light".
