Lucy Wainwright Roche

Lucy Wainwright Roche (born 1981) is a musican best known as the daughter of Suzzy Roche and Loudon Wainwright III. Her maternal aunts are Maggie and Terre Roche, who with Suzzy Roche formed the group The Roches. Her paternal half-siblings are Martha Wainwright and Rufus Wainwright. Her Aunt Sloan Wainwright and her uncle David Roche are also musicians. Lucy has sung with all of the afore-mentioned. Lucy attended Oberlin College in Ohio, graduating in 2003.

Lucy was a teacher in NYC for several years but has now gone into music full-time and in 2007 went on tour with her father, her brother Rufus and many other musical acts. In 2007, Lucy released an EP entitled '8 Songs'. In 2008 she released a follow-up EP called 8 More which featured a duet with actress Martha Plimpton.
