Kisan Tribe

Kisan Tribe in Orissa are found in Sundergarh, Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur and Keonjhar. They are traditional farmers and food gathering people. They speak the kisan dialect along with Oriya, Hindi and English. Kutra is very well known Kisan Village. The Toppo's are the main residents of this village. Kutra lies on the State Highway between Rourkela and Sundargarh.
