Al-Batuf Regional Council

The al-Batuf Regional Council ( _ar. البطوف, _he. מועצה אזורית אל-בטוף) is a regional council located on the southern fringe of the Bet Netofa valley in the North District of Israel. It became a regional council in 2003 and consists of the following four rural Israeli Arab villages.

*Hamaam
*Rumana
*Rumat al-Heib
*Uzeir

The regional council is named after the al-Batuf Plain on which it is located. According to the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics, al-Batuf had a population of 5,984 in 2003. [ [http://www.cbs.gov.il/publications/local_authorities2003/pdf/t06.pdf Regional Councils] Central Bureau of Statistics]
