Preksha meditation [Preksha Dhyana] is the lost meditation technique of Jainism . It was rediscovered by the tenth Spiritual head of Terapanth Shvetambara Jain Acharya Mahaprajna in the middle of the 20th century on the guidance of Acharya Tulsi.Facts|date=May 2007

He practised on himself for nearly 30 years before presented to general mass of public in modern language. With his editorial team consisting of ascetics of the Terapanth order, he matched it with modern science and began to present it in public in the seventies of the past century.Since then, the travel of Preksha Meditation is continue to serve humanity.

Preksha means to perceive and realise the subtlest aspects of ones own self, 'to see the self with the self'.

The speciality of this process is it is holistic approach proved by scientific experiments . The main aim of Preksha meditation is to reach and purify the deeper levels of existence spreading peace & harmony.

It has a comprehensive techniques of meditations to bring attitudinal change, behavioural modification and integrated development of personality.Every year an International Preksha Meditation Camp (IPMC) is organised under the auspicious guidance of Acharya_Mahaprajna in India.

Its formal study courses are available at Jain Vishva Bharti Institute, Ladnun, Rajasthan
