Chitvel is a village and a mandal in Kadapa district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. [1]

Geography

Chitvel is located at 14°10′00″N 79°20′00″E / 14.1667°N 79.3333°E / 14.1667; 79.3333.[2] It has an average elevation of 132 meters (436 feet).

Its a central place connected with many villages. Penna river bypasses chitvel.

It has a big bridge and is the only picnic spot for yougsters in the evening.
