Sussex County Technical School is a county-wide technical high school in Sussex County, New Jersey, located in Sparta Township. It is the home of the McNeice Auditorium and the Fighting Mustangs. The school's official colors are hunter green and gold.

As of the 2005-06 school year, the school had an enrollment of 628 students and 64.4 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 9.8. The Technical School is also the home of all three of the Umptysquatch human powered submarines (1, 2 and 3.2), and the teams of Engineering students who built them. Extracurricular activities

The Sussex County Technical School Mustangs participate in the eleven-member Sussex County Interscholastic League. The school is categorized by the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) as North I, Group II.

Sussex Tech also is involved with NJ REBEL; a youth led anti-tobacco group with funds from the New Jersey Department of Health and Human Services. The groups is also county wide. Sussex Tech REBEL currently has 38 active members and is becoming one of the school's largest activities.

Graduation Rate

According to the "New Jersey Herald", the graduation rate for Sussex County Technical School is 73.3%. This rate exceeds the national high school graduation rate of approximately 70%. Sussex County Technical School has the lowest graduation rate in Sussex County.
