Davis & Elkins College, also known as D&E, is a small residential liberal arts college located in Elkins, West Virginia, United States.[2] The school was founded in 1904 and is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church.[3] It was named for Henry G. Davis and his son-in-law Stephen B. Elkins who were both members of the United States Senate from West Virginia. The Senator, the college newspaper, was founded in December 1922. The school's athletic teams, known as the Senators, compete in the NCAA Division II West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

The college president is G.T. "Buck" Smith. He had been a consultant to the college from 1998 to 2001. He was named president in 2008.[3]
